Where TV Trivia meets Name That Tune!!!

The gameplay will consist of guessing the name of a TV show from a 20-30-second snippet from a TV theme song played at random. The time period of TV shows will range from – 1950-1960, 1961-1970, 1971-1980, 1981-1990, 1991-2000, and 2001-to June 1, 2024.

How the game will be played: There will be 3 questions per decade. Players will bet, 2 pts, 4 pts, or 6 pts once per question, depending on how well they believe they know the answer. There will be a total of 6 rounds split into two groups of 3 rounds each.

Bonus play:  After the first three rounds, there will be one bonus question which is a free one. If you get it right you’ll receive 20 points.

Final Bonus Round:  At the end of all 6 rounds, there will be a final bonus question where you can choose to “play it safe” and bet 0 points  – or you can choose to “go for broke!” and bet the total number of points you have. Or you can make a bet anywhere in between. This means the person in last place could still win the game!

The decade for this final bonus question will be chosen by the first-place team at the end of all 6 rounds. The type of question- TV show genre ( i.e.- drama, sitcom, cop show, etc.) will be chosen by the last-place team.
