We’re excited to announce the addition of Tai Chi to our weekly fitness schedule! Join resident Mike Kaminsky for this calming and invigorating class—perfect for all fitness levels. Don’t miss out on this wonderful new opportunity to enhance your mind and body!

Here’s a little about Mike: Originally from Texas, Mike has proudly maintained his accent despite living in Boston since the mid-eighties. Now retired, he enjoys spending time with his two grandchildren and his wife, Joyce. The couple has two small dogs and recently bought a new home in Cresswind, where they’re excited to begin this next chapter of their lives.

   Here’s a brief club overview: The Ancient practices of Tai Chi & Qigong (Pronounced Chee-gung) combine slow deliberate movements, meditation, & breathing. Tai Chi is essentially Qigong with movements. Every class starts with warmup joint loosening and Qigong. Both Tai Chi & Qigong help circulation, balance, coordination, stress relief, and mental clarity. The postures flow together making it look like a graceful moving meditation. The exercises are very low impact and puts minimal stress on joints and muscles.
