A little about Daniel Manassa, your speaker:

As a lifelong Floridian, I have spent my life around so many species of snakes and reptiles. I have recorded over 700 hours of working with venomous snakes, also owned all sorts of reptiles and even helped with wildlife rescue. Alligators are a natural part of the Florida landscape. They are fascinating animals to see and study. I have found myself inches away from alligators in the water in canoes and kayaks and searching them out in the wild. It is my hope to Spread awareness about these amazing animals to promote healthy and safe encounters even if they are unexpected.
