CANCELED: Billiards Tournament

Description

This year’s tournament is canceled, due to lack of interest.

If you participated in the weekly billiards play on Tuesday evenings during 2022, you are eligible to enter the 2nd annual Cresswind 8 – Ball Tournament.

This is a double elimination tournament. $10 is the entry fee. The money collected will be used for the champion’s name plate and a finals party on April 11th at 6:30pm.
The tournament will be limited to the first 24 players who sign up on the Cresswind website by March 21st. Pairings will be randomly drawn.
Match play will begin March 27th with players contacting each other to arrange a mutually agreed playing time.

Matches will need to completed within 72 hours of when the previous match was completed.

This is the same format as last year.

CRESSWIND 8-BALL TOURNAMENT RULES

Tournament is governed by ABA rules with following 6 exceptions:

• 8-Ball / Best 2 out of 3 matches
• Double elimination
• Flip coin for first break, then winner breaks
• If you make 8-ball on break, you WIN
• Last ball (8-ball), you MUST call the pocket
• If you scratch while shooting the 8-ball, you LOSE
